Track 1: In From The Storm
"So accustomed have they grown to living all the time with the reptiles and other creatures to be found in the outer courtyard of the castle that they have almost become like them... As far as I can understand, the door of entry into this castle is prayer and meditation." (pg 7)
I have from the beginning imagined a soul outside wandering in a growing hurricane, who has spent so much time among the beasts and reptiles that they have become very much like them. Then, almost by accident, this same soul stumbles upon a castle and chooses to enter in, unaware of the sacramental journey towards the center of the castle where the King sits upon the throne in a room bright and warm. This is the entry into the first room of the castle.
